MISSION OF THE INTERGENERATIONAL ENTERPRISE
Our mission is to create sustainable communities by bridging the gap between the generations through social enterprises and other initiatives which enable local residents to gain work experience to promote self empowernment and community ownership.
In order to create sustainable communities, we believe, residents must be educated and inspired to utilize their education to improve their community.
Since every community typically has a school, our strategy of educating the community stems from partnering with the schools through The Friends of School Program.
The "Friends of school Program is a toolbox used to build "The Complete School." The Mathematical formula for the complete school is shown below.
Once the Complete School is built, The Intergenerational Enterprise helps to unite these organizations in partnership to own and operate socially responsible businesses needed in the community. |
